Singing in London was founded by Idit Gold. Idit is actively involved and hosts each session, overseeing the members progress and development. She shares that passion we all have, to sing, enjoy and to share this with others.
The Singing in Highgate Club was opened in October 2006 with a group of local residents. The club has since opened it's doors to other passionate singers from across London.
Club members perform a number of shows every year mostly for fund raising. This includes a traditional Carol singing at The Flask in Highgate Village and supporting The Whittington Hospital.

Our Founder Idit Gold (B. Mus.) Musical Director
Idit was trained as a classical guitarist from a young age and performed in many concert halls.She took up choral conducting whilst studying at the Academy of Music when she realized she was passionate about the human voice.
Since graduation, Idit has conducted various choirs and produced a number of singing groups. She is a vocal arranger and her musical work includes recording sessions and producing shows.

Our Pianist Stephen Hose Musical Director & Pianist
Trained as a pianist at the Royal Academy of Music, where he held a Vaughan Williams scholarship, Stephen has worked extensively as a Musical Director and conductor in London and regional theatre. He is a resident Conductor for Opera UK.
Our Receptionist
Jenny Aster PA/Receptionist
Jenny is an Islingtonian who joined an amateur chorus Pro Musica many years ago and toured with them for several years. She has a love of Opera and of many of the finest musicals. Jenny joined Singing in London at the beginning of March.
Jenny enjoys meeting and greeting our members each week and seeing them develop their voices and share her passion for music, singing and performance.
