| Members Evening at the Highgate Club A special Members Evening was presented with wonderful performances by the members of the Highgate Club. The theme of the evening was "A Night of Enchantment" which included songs of magic and fantasy such as: Moon River, Stardust, Music of the night and many more. The members also sang some of their chosen songs solo and it will certainly be a night to remember. Thanks to everyone who came along to watch and support this wonderous display of local talent, which has been raised and nurtured at the club Monday 11 April 2011 |

Our past performances and workshop
Les Miserables Night The night was spectacular. Club members arrived in costume and performed with great passion and character. Soloists, duets, ensemble and the chorus performed a selection of memorable songs. | | My Fair Lady The Singalong was a huge success. With a sold out show and performers in top form, the show involved the audience in participation throughout the evening which created an amazing vocal sound. | | Whittington Hospital Lunchtime Performance Singing in Highgate first lunchtime show at the Whittington Hospital was held in 2009 and has become a regular musical entertainment performed by the Club members. It's a magical hour in which the hospital benefits from all the great fund raising while the members have great fun. | | Highgate Festival The Annual Highgate Festival is another regular performance event for the members who perform a selection of favourite songs joined by the audience at Pond Square. We also have a stall in the Square to present the Club and meet potential new members. | |

"I absolutely love Singing in Highgate. I passionately love musical theatre, and to have the opportunity to be able to sing these fabulous and timeless songs is a great delight. It lifts the heart at the end of the day to experience the joy of singing with all the emotional thrill and physical well being that this brings. It is energising - mentally, physically and emotionally. To be able to perform in a friendly and supportive group is confidence building, and above all fun. I can't wait for Monday nights!

"I've been a member of Signing in London for three years. It caught my eye as I love to sing show tunes. Over the years I've had lots of fun, improved my confidence to perform solo and made some really great friends that love to sing too."

I have always enjoyed singing (despite having a very average voice) its great fun to come along and sing out loud with a group of people who range from amazing to average (like me) and not feel self-conscious I’m even picking up reading music, something i have never done before, and we sing a good selection of songs.

“I have been coming to Singing in London’s Highgate club for years now and not only has it improved my vocal technique and my confidence in my own singing voice, but I have discovered a friendly, welcoming group of people who are as passionate about the music as I am. Singing in London is a must whatever your ability or confidence level – it’s a fun night filled with wonderful songs that always leaves you buzzing with excitement, I would heartily recommend it to anyone.”
